ROMAN CATHOLIC UPPER PRIMARY MISSION SCHOOL, BUDAKATA, ODISHA

The Marianist Trust undertook this project in a village situated approximately 60 kilometres from Rourkela, Odisha. The centre serves as the a place of learning and building better future. The members of the Trust are actively engaged in the educational, and social development of the local community. The Trust manages and supports the school that primarily serves children from the surrounding tribal villages. The school provides instruction in the Odia medium and is committed to offering quality, value-based education to economically and socially disadvantaged families.

The school currently enrols approximately 191 students from Grades I to VII. The Upper Primary section was introduced in 2009, enabling students to continue their education within the same institution. A dedicated team of eleven teaching and three non-teaching staff members works together to ensure the academic, moral, and holistic formation of the students.
