The REDS Deepahalli Tailoring and Embroidery Training Programme, located within the Deepahalli Campus near Chandapura in Anekal Taluk, Bengaluru, is an initiative aimed at empowering women through vocational skill development. The programme conducts two batches each day—morning and afternoon—benefiting around 69 women who receive training in tailoring and embroidery under the guidance of Mr. Sagayaraj, an experienced tailor. By equipping women with employable skills, the programme enables them to become self-reliant, supplement their family income, and make productive use of their free time.

More than a vocational training centre, the programme promotes the holistic development of its participants by fostering emotional well-being, personality development, and life skills through regular workshops and interactive sessions. It also provides a supportive environment where women can share their experiences, build friendships, and grow in confidence. Through the celebration of national and religious festivals, the programme instills values of unity, mutual respect, and responsible person, helping participants become active contributors to their families and to a just and harmonious society.
