St. Mary Vocational Training Institute, established in 2014, is a skill development initiative of the Marianist Trust, located in Ranchi City. The institute was founded to provide quality vocational training to marginalized sections of society, particularly rag pickers, housemaids, unemployed youth, and economically disadvantaged women, enabling them to acquire employable skills and improve their livelihoods.
The institute offers training in tailoring, embroidery, weaving, computer applications, and other vocational skills designed to meet local employment needs. Along with technical training, emphasis is placed on developing self-confidence, discipline, and entrepreneurship, helping trainees become self-reliant and financially independent. Through its skill development programmes, St. Mary Vocational Training Institute continues to empower youth and women, creating opportunities for sustainable employment and improving the quality of life of the communities it serves.
The total number of students are 83 with 5 staffs.
